Sergey Kelbakh, Chairman of the Management Board of Avtodor State Company, said that the first section of the Moscow-St.-Petersburg highway will be commissioned on December 23, 2014. He was talking about the road section between 15 km and 58 km. The entire highway, except for the Tver section, will be started up in 2018. The new highway will run across Moscow, Tver, Novgorod and Leningrad regions. It will pass by populated localities. The drive from the Moscow Ring Road to Khimki along the Moscow-St.-Petersburg М-11 speedway will be toll-free according to 360 Podmoskovye TV channel. So, the motorists will be able to turn at the first interchange towards Dolgoprudny or the Left-Bank district of Khimki without spending a ruble. The free pass will be valid in the opposite direction too.
